A graduate in Fine Arts from Sarada Ukil School of Art, New Delhi. A certificate holder, in art appreciation from the prestigious National Gallery of Modern Art. Been awarded Guru Drona in 2018 by Radart International, I am immensely passionate about teaching art. I have been teaching sketching and painting for over 30 years now. I specialize in sculpture, murals and illustrations other than painting. After a long stint with advertising for over 32 years, I decided to go my own way and founded ‘DesignVriksh’ (2010) and ‘Art by Biswajit Das’ (2020) with the core objective to teach and impart art skills to students of diversified age.
My main emphasis as a teacher and mentor, is to equip my student to develop the skills and freedom of being a thinker and not to shy away from experimenting with different styles and mediums.
Art by Biswajit Das, is neither a conventional agency, or your typical art school. Instead, it’s a creative space where one is free to express oneself anyway one likes.
